In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Carver Yellowjackets (Winston-Salem, NC), by a margin of 15-0.

With the win, Lexington betters its record to 2-1 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to East Davidson (Thomasville, NC) to encounter the Golden Eagles in a Central Carolina 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, March 14. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. East Davidson lost 14-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Ledford (Thomasville, NC)
