March 9, 2023: Hyattsville, MD 20781 The DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD) baseball trounced the visiting Northern Patriots (Owings, MD), 13-2 in Thursday's non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Stags play the St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) in a Washington Catholic contest, on Tuesday, March 14. DeMatha will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Cadets enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA).
The Patriots now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Leonardtown for a Southern Maryland contest on Wednesday, March 22.
