The Ponchatoula Green Wave basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Ruston Bearcats to 55 in the Green Wave non-league victory on Thursday.

The Green Wave now sport a 28-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Iberia for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 11. Ponchatoula will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 47-43 non-league win over Walker (Walker, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 31-3.
