The Van Wert Cougars tipped the visiting Rossford Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 49-42 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Lutheran West Longhorns (Rocky River, OH) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 11. Van Wert will attempt to move on its 18-7 season record. The Longhorns enter the game with a 23-3 record after their 71-55 non-league win over Sandusky (Sandusky, OH).

With the defeat, Rossford moves to 21-5 on the year.
