March 9, 2023: Watsonville, CA 95076 The Mt. Madonna Hawks (Watsonville, CA) volleyball were winner over the visiting DCP El Primero Lobos (San Jose, CA), 3-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.
With the win, Mt. Madonna betters its record to 1-0 on the year. The Hawks travel to Santa Cruz (Santa Cruz, CA) to face the Cardinals in a SCCAL outing on Tuesday, March 21. The Cardinals go into the outing with a record of 5-0.
The Lobos now sport a 0-4 record. They play next when they host James Lick for a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 15. DCP El Primero will face a Comets squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Gunderson (San Jose, CA). The Comets record now stands at 0-7.
