The Lee Park Prep Knights softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Forest Hills Yellow Jackets to 12 in the Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Lee Park Prep improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Knights travel to Monroe (Monroe, NC) to clash with the Redhawks in a non-league game on Monday, March 13. The Redhawks come into the game with a record of 0-2. Monroe lost 7-1 in their recent non-league game against Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC)

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets clash with the Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors (Indian Trail, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 14.
