Sterlington Panthers (Sterlington, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Richwood Rams (Monroe, LA), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 13-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alexandria for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 10. Sterlington will face a Trojans squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Ruston (Ruston, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Richwood falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rams host Arcadia (Arcadia, LA) to face the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 6. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
