March 9, 2024: Lacassine, LA 70650 Lacassine Cardinals (Lacassine, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Anacoco Indians (Anacoco, LA), 5-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lacassine upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Episcopal of Acadiana (Cade, LA) to battle the Falcons in a B District 6 test on Tuesday, March 12. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 2-3.
With the defeat, Anacoco falls to 3-3 on the season. The Indians travel to Holy Savior Menard (Alexandria, LA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, March 11. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 6-7. Holy Savior Menard won 12-1 in their recent non-league test against Weston (Jonesboro, LA)
