West Valley Eagles (Cottonwood, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA), 11-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, West Valley upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 12. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 5-0. Foothill won 11-6 in their recent non-league test against Wheatland (Wheatland, CA)

With the defeat, Anderson falls to 3-3 on the season. The Cubs travel to Enterprise (Redding, CA) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 12. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 2-3. Enterprise won 9-5 in their recent non-league test against Shasta (Redding, CA)
