March 9, 2024: Azle, TX 76020 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX) and the host Azle Hornets (Azle, TX), saw Lake Belton's baseball squad knock off Azle by a count of 10-2.
Coming up next, the Broncos play the Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, TX) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 9. Lake Belton will attempt to advance on its 10-4 season record.
The Hornets (13-4) will now prepare for their match against Granbury (Granbury, TX). The Pirates go into the 5A Region I District 5 match with a 13-2 record. In their last match, Granbury gained a win over Richland (North Richland Hills, TX), 6-4, in a non-league match.
