Forney Jackrabbits (Forney, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Kaufman Lions (Kaufman, TX), 8-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Forney upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Jackrabbits travel to Terrell (Terrell, TX) to battle the Tigers in a 5A Region II District 14 test on Tuesday, March 12. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 4-1.

With the defeat, Kaufman falls to 5-5 on the season. The Lions travel to Ford (Quinlan, TX) to play the Panthers in a 4A Region II District 14 battle on Thursday, March 14.
