The Sallisaw Black Diamonds (Sallisaw, OK) baseball trounced the visiting Vian Wolverines (Vian, OK), 9-2 in Saturday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Black Diamonds play the Stilwell Indians (Stilwell, OK) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 11. Sallisaw will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.

The Wolverines now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oktaha for a Big 8 contest on Tuesday, March 12. Vian will play a Tigers squad coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Carl Albert (Midwest City, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.
