March 9, 2024: Livermore, CA 94550 The Granada Matadors volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Fremont Firebirds to 0 in the Matadors non-league victory on Saturday.
The Matadors now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Encinal for a non-league game on Saturday, March 9. Granada will meet a Jets team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Liberty (Brentwood, CA). The Jets record now stands at 4-2.
The Firebirds (7-4) will now prepare for their game against Monte Vista (Danville, CA). The Mustangs enter the non-league game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Monte Vista gained a win over Campolindo (Moraga, CA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
