Louisiana High School Softball - Benton nudges South Beauregard
March 9, 2024: Longville, LA 70652 Benton Tigers (Benton, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host South Beauregard Knights (Longville, LA), 8-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Doyle for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 9. Benton will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 19-1 non-league win over E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-4.
With the loss, South Beauregard falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Knights host Central (Baton Rouge, LA) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 9. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 5-6.
