Louisiana High School Softball - Destrehan bounces Grant
March 9, 2024: Dry Prong, LA 71423 Destrehan Wildcats (Destrehan, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA), 15-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now sport a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tioga for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 9. Destrehan will face a Indians squad coming off a 20-4 league win over Franklin Parish (Winnsboro, LA). The Indians record now stands at 10-2.
With the loss, Grant falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Winnfield (Winnfield, LA) to face the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 9. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 10-4. Winnfield won 7-4 in their recent non-league challenge against LaSalle (Olla, LA)
