In Friday's non-league match, the host Hiland Hawks basketball team scored a tight 52-50 triumph over the Northside Christian Lions.

In their next game, the Hawks meet the Crestview Knights (Convoy, OH) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 17. Hiland will attempt to better on its 19-9 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 24-3 record after their 41-40 non-league win over Marion Local (Maria Stein, OH).
