California High School Volleyball - Hilltop over Steele Canyon
March 10, 2023: Spring Valley, CA 91978 Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA), 3-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Lancers battle the El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA) in a non-league match, on Monday, March 13. Hilltop will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record. The Vaqueros come into the match with a 0-8 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Valhalla (El Cajon, CA).
With the loss, Steele Canyon drops to 6-9 on the campaign. The Cougars host Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA) to battle the Matadors in a Grossmont Valley match on Tuesday, March 14. The Matadors come into the match with a record of 2-7.
