Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting McDowell Titans (Marion, NC), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars face the West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 14. Alexander Central will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Blackhawks enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC).

The Titans now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Caldwell for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 13.
