Georgia High School Soccer - Newnan knocks off South Paulding
March 10, 2023: Newnan, GA 30263 Newnan Cougars (Newnan, GA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA), 4-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Cougars confront the Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 13. Newnan will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Troup County (LaGrange, GA).
The Spartans now possess a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Douglas County for a challenge on Monday, March 13. South Paulding will confront a Tigers team coming off a 1-0 league win over Newnan (Newnan, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.
