South Carolina High School Soccer - Bishop England knocks off Porter-Gaud
March 10, 2023: Charleston, SC 29407 The Bishop England Battling Bishops soccer squad scored 4 points and restricted the host Porter-Gaud Cyclones to 1 in the Battling Bishops non-league triumph on Friday.
The Battling Bishops now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Gray Collegiate Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, March 11. Bishop England will meet a War Eagles squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Pinewood Prep (Summerville, SC). The War Eagles record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Porter-Gaud drops to 2-4 on the season. The Cyclones travel to Camden Military (Camden, SC) to meet the Spartans in a AAAA Region 2 test on Monday, March 13. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 1-2. Camden Military won 8-6 in their recent non-league test against Lewisville (Richburg, SC)
