Alabama High School Softball - Bibb County bounces Athens
March 10, 2023: Athens, AL 35612 Bibb County Choctaws (Centreville, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Athens Golden Eagles (Athens, AL), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Choctaws now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thompson for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 10. Bibb County will face a Warriors squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Prattville (Prattville, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, Athens falls to 12-3 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Thompson (Alabaster, AL) to face the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 10. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 11-2. Thompson won 13-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Prattville (Prattville, AL)
