The West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) softball nipped the host Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC), 1-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Colts (4-1) will now prepare for their bout against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Blue Devils go into the non-league bout with a 2-1 record.

The Ragin' Bulls now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to South Iredell for a Greater Metro 4A bout on Tuesday, March 14. Hickory Ridge will confront a Vikings squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over West Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 4-1.
