Texas High School Softball - La Vernia bounces Pleasanton
March 10, 2023: Pleasanton, TX 78064 The La Vernia Bears (La Vernia, TX) softball routed the host Pleasanton Eagles (Pleasanton, TX), 16-6 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Bears (7-12) will now prepare for their game against Shiner (Shiner, TX). The Comanches come into the non-league game with a 8-2 record. In their last game, Shiner gained a win over Flatonia (Flatonia, TX), 27-7, in a league game.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Devine Warhorses (Devine, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 29 game, on Tuesday, March 14. Pleasanton will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Warhorses come into the game with a 16-3 record after their 13-3 league win over Carrizo Springs (Carrizo Springs, TX).
