The Vanguard Knights (Ocala, FL) baseball trounced the visiting Crystal River Pirates (Crystal River, FL), 16-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to P.K. Yonge for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 12. Vanguard will clash with a Blue Wave team coming off a 22-0 non-league win over Ocala Christian (Ocala, FL). The Blue Wave record now stands at 7-3.

With the defeat, Crystal River drops to 3-9 on the year. The Pirates host Lecanto (Lecanto, FL) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 11.
