March 10, 2025: San Antonio, TX 78207 The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Highlands Owls (San Antonio, TX) and the host Lanier Voks (San Antonio, TX), saw Highlands's baseball team gain a win over Lanier by a tally of 16-5.
The Owls (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Burbank (San Antonio, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 5A Region IV District 27 battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Burbank prevailed over Edison (San Antonio, TX), 4-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Voks clash with the Jefferson Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 27 challenge, on Wednesday, March 12. Lanier will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 13-1 league win over Sam Houston (San Antonio, TX).
