The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Sunrise Mountain Miners (Las Vegas, NV) and the visiting Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV), observed Sunrise Mountain's softball team prevail over Cheyenne by a count of 22-12.

Next, the Miners meet the Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Blue Knights (Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 14. Sunrise Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
