The Valley View Blazers softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Gosnell Pirates to 6 in the Blazers non-league win on Monday.

The Blazers now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 11. Valley View will confront a Rebels team coming off a 18-0 non-league win over Marked Tree (Marked Tree, AR). The Rebels record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Gosnell moves to 1-2 on the season. The Pirates host East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR) to confront the Warriors in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 11.
