Texas High School Softball - Taft knocked off by Ingleside

The Ingleside Mustangs overwhelmed the host Taft Greyhounds softball squad by a count of 16-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Calhoun Sandcrabs (Port Lavaca, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 30 challenge, on Tuesday, March 11. Ingleside will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Sandcrabs go into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Bishop (Bishop, TX).

The Greyhounds (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Goliad (Goliad, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Goliad was routed by Ingleside (Ingleside, TX), 6-4, in a non-league challenge.
