March 10, 2025: Mountain View, AR 72560 In Monday's non-league test, the Mountain View Yellowjackets (Mountain View, AR) softball team routed the visiting Norfork Panthers (Norfork, AR), by a final score of 11-1.
The Yellowjackets now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marshall for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 11. Mountain View will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 10-8 non-league loss to Rose Bud (Rose Bud, AR). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Norfork moves to 0-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Concord (Concord, AR) to confront the Pirates in a 1A Region 2 battle on Tuesday, March 11. The Pirates come into the battle with a record of 2-0. Concord won 8-7 in their recent non-league battle against Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR)
