Louisiana High School Softball - Port Barre knocked off by St. Edmund
March 10, 2025: Eunice, LA 70535 The St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays overwhelmed the visiting Port Barre Red Devils softball squad by a count of 14-4 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Fighting Blue Jays meet the South Beauregard Knights (Longville, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 11. St. Edmund will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Knights go into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 21-9 non-league win over DeQuincy (DeQuincy, LA).
The Red Devils (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Avoyelles (Moreauville, LA). The Mustangs go into the non-league challenge with a 0-11 record. In their last challenge, Avoyelles was routed by Grant (Dry Prong, LA), 24-0, in a non-league challenge.
