Louisiana High School Softball - Walker bounces Springfield
March 10, 2025: Walker, LA 70785 The Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA) softball routed the visiting Springfield Bulldogs (Springfield, LA), 14-3 in Monday's non-league outing.
The Wildcats now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Amant for a 5A District 5 outing on Tuesday, March 11. Walker will encounter a Gators team coming off a 18-8 non-league win over St. Mary's Dominican (New Orleans, LA). The Gators record now stands at 9-3.
With the loss, Springfield moves to 3-6 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Northlake Christian (Covington, LA) to encounter the Wolverines in a 2A District 7 outing on Wednesday, March 12. The Wolverines come into the outing with a record of 1-5. Northlake Christian lost 12-2 in their recent non-league outing against Sumner (Kentwood, LA)
