The Westview Knights routed the visiting McClintock Chargers softball squad by a final score of 16-3 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Knights (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ). The Fighting Lobos go into the non-league battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, La Joya Community was routed by Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ), 13-0, in a non-league battle.

The Chargers now possess a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Campo Verde for a II Section IV battle on Tuesday, March 17. McClintock will meet a Coyotes squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Perry (Gilbert, AZ). The Coyotes record now stands at 11-4.
