March 11, 2021: Fairburn, GA 30213 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Lakeside Vikings (Atlanta, GA) and the host Langston Hughes Panthers (Fairburn, GA), saw Lakeside's soccer squad triumph over Langston Hughes by a margin of 11-0.
The Vikings now sport a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Pace Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 16. Lakeside will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Parkview (Lilburn, GA). The Knights record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Langston Hughes drops to 0-2 on the season. The Panthers host Morrow (Morrow, GA) to encounter the Mustangs in a AAAAAA Region 4 test on Thursday, March 18. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 2-3. Morrow won 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA)
