Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the McBain Ramblers (McBain, MI) and the visiting Mason County Central Spartans (Scottville, MI), saw McBain's basketball squad nip Mason County Central by a margin of 37-35.

The Ramblers (9-14) will now prepare for their test against Meridian (Sanford, MI). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 15-5 record. In their last test, Meridian got by Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI), 60-50, in a non-league test.
