March 11, 2023: Irvine, CA 92604 The El Modena Vanguards volleyball team (Orange, CA), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Irvine Vaqueros (Irvine, CA)
The Vaqueros (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Samueli Academy (Santa Ana, CA). The Firewolves enter the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Samueli Academy nipped Magnolia (Anaheim, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Vanguards meet the Foothill Knights (Santa Ana, CA) in a North Hills challenge, on Tuesday, March 14. El Modena will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record.
