March 11, 2023: Huntington Beach, CA 92647 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Liberty Christian Minutemen (Huntington Beach, CA) and the visiting Hillcrest Christian Saints (Thousand Oaks, CA), saw Liberty Christian's volleyball squad beat Hillcrest Christian by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Liberty Christian upgrades its record to 2-3 on the year. The Minutemen host Xavier Prep (Palm Desert, CA) to play the Saints in a Mountain Pass bout on Wednesday, March 15. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Xavier Prep lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against West Valley (Hemet, CA)
The Saints now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Pilgrim for a Omega bout on Monday, March 13. Hillcrest Christian will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Firebaugh (Lynwood, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 8-6.
