Texas High School Softball - San Benito can't hold off Lyford
March 11, 2024: San Benito, TX 78586 The Lyford Bulldogs softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host San Benito Greyhounds to 9 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Lyford moves its record to 6-8 on the year. The Bulldogs host Rio Hondo (Rio Hondo, TX) to clash with the Bobcats in a 3A Region IV District 32 game on Tuesday, March 26. The Bobcats come into the game with a record of 8-8.
In their next game, the Greyhounds clash with the Hanna Golden Eagles (Brownsville, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 32 game, on Thursday, March 14.
