Louisiana High School Softball - Richwood nudges Madison
March 11, 2024: Monroe, LA 71202 Richwood Rams (Monroe, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Madison Jaguars (Tallulah, LA), 8-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Rams now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Delhi for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 12. Richwood will battle a Bears squad coming off a 23-10 non-league loss to Wossman (Monroe, LA). The Bears record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Madison falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Oak Grove (Oak Grove, LA) to battle the Tigers in a 2A District 2 challenge on Wednesday, March 13. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. Oak Grove won 16-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Bastrop (Bastrop, LA)
