The Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Hurricanes baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Anclote Sharks to 1 in the Hurricanes non-league win on Tuesday.

The Hurricanes now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tampa Catholic for a 2A District 9 test on Wednesday, March 12. Bishop McLaughlin Catholic will clash with a Crusaders team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Jesuit (Tampa, FL). The Crusaders record now stands at 11-1.

With the defeat, Anclote drops to 3-8 on the year. The Sharks travel to Sunlake (Land O' Lakes, FL) to clash with the Seahawks in a non-league test on Thursday, March 13.
