March 11, 2025: Bruni, TX 78344 The Premont Cowboys (Premont, TX) baseball trounced the host Bruni Badgers (Bruni, TX), 10-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Cowboys now own a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Freer for a 2A Region IV District 32 challenge on Tuesday, March 18. Premont will clash with a Buckaroos team coming off a 16-5 league win over La Villa (La Villa, TX). The Buckaroos record now stands at 6-6.
With the defeat, Bruni drops to 0-2 on the year. The Badgers host San Perlita (San Perlita, TX) to clash with the Trojans in a 1A Region IV District 32 challenge on Tuesday, March 18. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. San Perlita lost 13-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Rio Hondo (Rio Hondo, TX)
