The Friona Chieftans baseball squad (Friona, TX), was overwhelmed 21-2 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Dimmitt Bobcats (Dimmitt, TX)

With the triumph, Dimmitt moves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Bobcats host Shallowater (Shallowater, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a 3A Region I District 2 contest on Saturday, March 15. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 8-3.

The Chieftans now possess a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shallowater for a 3A Region I District 2 contest on Tuesday, March 18.
