In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Pillow Academy Mustangs baseball team scored a close 5-3 win over the Hatley Tigers.

The Mustangs (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Heritage Academy (Columbus, MS). The Patriots go into the MAIS 5A District 1 game with a 4-8 record. In their last game, Heritage Academy nudged Lawrence County (Monticello, MS), 13-4, in a non-league game.

Next, the Tigers play the West Harrison Hurricanes (Gulfport, MS) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, March 12. Hatley will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Hurricanes go into the game with a 7-3 record after their 9-2 non-league win over Stone (Wiggins, MS).
