The Bears now hold a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Joaquin for a 1A Region III District 23 test on Tuesday, March 18. Timpson will play a Rams team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Gary (Gary, TX). The Rams record now stands at 8-6.
With the defeat, San Augustine drops to 0-2 on the year. The Wolves travel to Woden (Woden, TX) to play the Eagles in a 1A Region III District 23 test on Friday, March 14. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 7-3. Woden lost 4-2 in their recent league test against Joaquin (Joaquin, TX)
