North Carolina High School Soccer - Coastal Christian knocks off Wayne Country Day
March 11, 2025: Wilmington, NC 28409 The Coastal Christian Centurions (Wilmington, NC) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Wayne Country Day Chargers (Goldsboro, NC), 9-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Centurions now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Arendell Parrott Academy for a NCISAA Coastal Plain challenge on Thursday, March 13. Coastal Christian will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Greenfield (Wilson, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Wayne Country Day moves to 1-1 on the year. The Chargers travel to John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC) to encounter the Saints in a NCISAA Coastal Plain challenge on Thursday, March 13. The Saints go into the challenge with a record of 2-4. John Paul II Catholic lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Epiphany (New Bern, NC)
