The Corona Panthers (Corona, CA) lacrosse nudged the visiting Chaparral Pumas (Temecula, CA), 9-8 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Panthers now own a 12-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Norco for a Big VIII outing on Thursday, March 13. Corona will face a Cougars squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Murrieta Valley (Murrieta, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Chaparral falls to 5-4 on the year. The Pumas travel to Murrieta Mesa (Murrieta, CA) to face the Rams in a SoWest outing on Monday, March 17. The Rams go into the outing with a record of 3-5. Murrieta Mesa lost 14-6 in their recent non-league outing against Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA)
