The North East Carolina Prep Husky softball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Beddingfield Bruins to 1 in the Husky non-league win on Tuesday.

The Husky now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hobgood Charter for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 13. North East Carolina Prep will confront a Raiders team coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Jones (Trenton, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Beddingfield moves to 0-2 on the season. The Bruins travel to Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC) to confront the Saints in a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 12.
