In Tuesday's non-league test, the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM), by a count of 16-1.

Next, the Eagles meet the Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls (Carlsbad, NM) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 14. Belen will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.

The Vikings (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Atrisco Heritage Academy toppled Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 16-5, in a non-league test.
