March 11, 2025: Blooming Grove, TX 76626 In Tuesday's non-league test, the Blooming Grove Lions (Blooming Grove, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Frost Polar Bears (Frost, TX), by a tally of 19-4.
Next, the Lions clash with the Palmer Bulldogs (Palmer, TX) in a 3A Region III District 18 test, on Tuesday, March 18. Blooming Grove will attempt to advance on its 16-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 6-9 record after their 17-8 non-league loss to Poteet (Mesquite, TX).
The Polar Bears (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Rio Vista (Rio Vista, TX). The Eagles go into the 1A Region II District 14 test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Rio Vista prevailed over South Hills (Fort Worth, TX), 18-5, in a non-league test.
