The Crest Chargers triumphed over the host South Point Red Raiders softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Chargers meet the Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC) in a Big South 3A challenge, on Thursday, March 13. Crest will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Huskies go into the match with a 0-1 record after their 24-9 league loss to Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC).
