The Lancaster Tigers softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Skyline Raiders to 7 in the Tigers league win on Tuesday.

The Tigers now possess a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Duncanville for a 6A Region II District 11 battle on Wednesday, March 12. Lancaster will confront a Panthers and Pantherettes team coming off a 15-0 league win over Skyline (Dallas, TX). The Panthers and Pantherettes record now stands at 12-2.

With the loss, Skyline moves to 9-3 on the season. The Raiders travel to Mesquite (Mesquite, TX) to confront the Skeeters in a 6A Region II District 11 battle on Friday, March 14. The Skeeters come into the battle with a record of 10-9. Mesquite won 10-1 in their recent league battle against Cedar Hill (Cedar Hill, TX)
